How early did your baby's teeth come in?

Yes, this has turned to a parenting blog... So fair warning.

How old was your baby when s/he got their first tooth?

I am curious because I was told that one of Julia's birthsiblings got his first tooth around the age of 4 months and I swear Julia is going to have a tooth or two pop through in a few weeks time. She has no buds showing on the gums yet, but she was chewing on my fingers yesterday and I could feel very hard spots in her upper gums. Hummm, I wonder if she too will be presenting mommy and daddy with some teeth early.

I know, not all kids will be the same on teeth presentations in their sweet little mouths, but how old was your child when they did get their first tooth?

We now call her Droolia instead of Julia because she can soak a bib in 5 minutes. I had to invest in the plastic backed bibs from target these past few weeks and she goes through several bibs a day sometimes.

No complaints here, just curious how fast or slow some babies can get their teeth in.

see, she has drool everywhere! And this was between bib changes that she drooled this much.

SUCH a sweet smile! Our Olivia is just 11 weeks, and we don't have any of that drool problem yet (which is great), but she has started chewing on her hand and getting it all slobbery and then reaching for us, which leaves us all slobbery. But I'm not complaining. She is such a blessing and I wouldn't trade her for the world!

So cute! Bailey didn't get her first tooth until almost eight months, and the next one was about a month later. She is now 9 1/2 months and I think she is starting to work on one of her top teeth.

Sarah-Lynn got her first tooth at about 4.5 months (really 2.5 months if you correct for her prematurity), and Andrew was almost 8 months old when he got his first tooth.
So it really can vary even with twins.

MAM had her first tooth in time for Christmas, so she was about 4.5/5months old! Her teeth came in fast--she had a good mouthful by the time she was one, and her two year molars were in by 18 mos or so. And she was TRULY DROOLY too!

Okay first I have to say that she is scrumptious. Next, I will tell you that my son got his first tooth around four months.

But just to warn you, he drooled for a good month before the tooth came through.

Bec...my Dr. told me that the first tooth is almost ALWAYS a bottom tooth. My book said 6-10 mo and Js first were at 7 mo.

Julia Droolia - I love it:) Lily started drooling like crazy at about four months and her tooth didn't come through until about 6 months. It was crazy! She went through about ten bibs a day:)
She is just too cute!

Maggie doesn't have any yet (at just over six months). She went through a heavier drooling stage for a few weeks last month, but never showed any teeth. Huh.

Hey! Found you doing research because my 9.5 month-old JUST popped her first tooth--on the top! My friend's baby (my baby's future husband-haha) cut his first the very same day, at 10 months-old, though his was one of the bottom teeth. Take care. Happy parenting!

My son drooled for at least six weeks before he got his first two teeth at the same time at 6 months old. He has always gotten them in twos, and now at 15 months has all his baby teeth except his lower canines, which we can feel.

My little man is only 11 weeks old and popped the beginings of his first bottom tooth a few days ago. He had all the signs leading up to the big event, the drooling, irratability, and green poop, will soon be chowing on his first steak at this rate!

my first baby was only 2.5 months when her first tooth broke through and she had all of her teeth by time she was 1 year old. Also she did not fuss with her teething nor did she drool alot, but our second baby was almost 6 months when he got his first tooth and he did fuss alot but still not much drool.
